What we do

Land in Ghana is rarely simple. Allodial title, customary stool and family lands, leasehold from the state, multiple registries, and the steady risk of competing claims all sit on top of any transaction. Good real estate work begins long before a sale agreement is drafted.

We conduct full title due diligence at the Lands Commission and Land Title Registry, structure transactions to allocate risk between buyer and seller intelligently, and represent clients in the boundary, encroachment, and quiet-title disputes that follow when due diligence was not done well by someone else.

For developers and corporate occupiers, we draft and negotiate the construction, leasing, and management agreements that govern long-term assets — and we know how to escalate them when counterparties stop performing.
